Dr. Adi Vitman Schorr
Dr. Adi Vitman Schorr main research field is Environmental and Spatial Gerontology, meaning the exploration of various aspects of aging, while focusing on its spatial-geographical nature in the broad sense. It involves the investigation of the changing human aspect - different population groups, different cultures - as well as examining the changing spatial-geographical aspects, i.e., different types of settlements, different areas, the suburbs vs. the city, established areas compared to less established areas, and rural vs. urban regions.
Future research plans include continuing to deepen knowledge and understanding of the relationship between the cultural, physical and human characteristics of the living environment and quality of life, well-being, loneliness and depression among older adults from different population groups, different types of communities, different levels of accessibility (physical accessibility, but also accessibility to knowledge and services) and the like.
The importance of this research is the understanding that the form of residence, place of residence and of course, human, physical and cultural characteristics, influence the nature and quality of aging. This area of research allows for a good understanding of the different needs that characterize the different regions and population groups.

עובדת במנהלת התחדשות עירונית בעיר בת-ים ועוסקת בקידום והובלת פרויקטי התחדשות עירונית ברחבי העיר. במסגרת עבודה התזה, חלי חקרה את נושא הקהילות העירוניות והמניעים המביאים קהילות להתגורר במרחב כזה או אחר, תוך הבנה שבחירת מקום ההשתכנות של קהילה עירונית משפיעה הן על יכולת ההתפתחות שלה והן על יכולת הקיום שלה.

זה 4 שנים יונתן עובד בוועדה המחוזית מחוז מרכז כמוביל תכניות. כיום מתמקד בתכניות במגזר הערבי, מרחב ראש העין ומודיעין-מכבים-רעות. החל את לימודיו בשנת 2012 במחלקה לגיאוגרפיה באונ' בן גוריון. עבודת הסיום, תחת הנחייתה של נורית, התמקדה במעבר צה"ל לנגב, בדגש על השפעת הקמת עיר הבה"דים על העיר ירוחם. במהלך המאסטר מחקרו עסק בחשיבות החלטות לפיתוח הנגב שהתקבלו לאורך השנים והשפעת מעבר בסיסיי צה"ל על פיתוח הנגב בהיבטים חברתיים, כלכליים תשתיות וכו'.
